Letter to property owners:

The Ponderosa Park Association has surveyed the park as to property that is vacant that has dead trees and/or an abundance of highly flammable brush.

We simply want to call our concern to your attention, as one of these property owners, in hopes that you will make your property more fire defensible.

There are some among us who would help with the cleanup, if needed. Our goal is simply to make our community safer from fire. We clearly have no authority to compel you to do anything with your property. However, we hope that you might join us in making Ponderosa Park a safer and healthier place to live.
