The Ponderosa Park Association is on TwitterTwitter is a free service that lets you keep in touch with people through the exchange of quick notes. If you join twitter and follow @PonderosaPark, then each time we post something you can get a brief message showing what we posted. This does not replace the email list. To be on the email list either email Allen Laudenslager or just put a note in with your dues payment. You do not have to go to the Twitter site to see the posts. If you use any website that takes RSS feeds, you can have these announcements show up on that site. Or you can put a widget right on your desktop. You can even have them sent to your phone. (Which could useful if we ever sent out an emergency notice.) Click here for the Ponderosa Park RSS Feed. You may also want to follow @HereInPrescott, for news and event info in Prescott, Az.

Letter to property owners:The Ponderosa Park Association has surveyed the park as to property that is vacant that has dead trees and/or an abundance of highly flammable brush. We simply want to call our concern to your attention, as one of these property owners, in hopes that you will make your property more fire defensible. There are some among us who would help with the cleanup, if needed. Our goal is simply to make our community safer from fire. We clearly have no authority to compel you to do anything with your property. However, we hope that you might join us in making Ponderosa Park a safer and healthier place to live.
